Women love flowers and as such a nice bouquet or even a single flower can be the perfect birthday gift for a woman. The thoughtfulness and love shown while gifting a flower will make them feel more special and they will appreciate it more than any other gift.

Depending on whether she’s a mother, daughter, wife or a girlfriend, you have to choose different flowers for an appropriate gift. For instance, if you are planning a gift for your mother or daughter choose affectionate and cheerful flowers like wild flowers, tulips, Gerber daisies etc. Just like birth stones, each month of the year have a corresponding flower. This will also make a good present to your mother or your daughter. You can never go wrong if make a gift of her favorite flowers. Roses are favored by all women but if you have your mother or daughter in mind while choosing the gift, stick to the pink, orange and white shades which will say “I Love You” in a non-romantic, caring way.

Red roses show a very romantic intent and should be reserved for wives and girlfriends. Here you have to careful as not to gift a red rose to a new girlfriend as it may send out the wrong signals. For the new girlfriends, pick out the lighter shades of the rose as you did your mother or daughter. So while you may give your wife a red rose, think twice before doing the same with your girlfriend.
